There is lots happening at Rampton Village Hall. Every Monday and Tuesday morning up to 16th April, from 10.00am to 12.00pm, there is the Coffee and Tea group; come along for a drink, chat and a slice of delicious homemade cake. C&T return in September 2019. This is followed every Monday afternoon by Chair Yoga from 2.00pm to 3.00pm and Hatha Yoga from 4.00pm to 5.00pm. New members are very welcome.
Every Tuesday evening from 6.30pm to 8.30pm the Time to Craft group meet. This is a friendly group of likeminded crafters, all wanting to make time to craft, so whether you knit, crochet, sew, needlepoint, make paper art, lino cut, etc., this could be the group for you! You are welcome, whether you are a novice with little or no experience in your craft or a seasoned veteran who wants to get your projects moving forward and to share your makes and knowledge. The cost is £2.00 per session.
Every Thursday evening from 5.00pm to 6.00pm is a Pilates class, followed at 7.30pm to 9.30pm by the Indoor Bowling group. New members are welcome to both of these.
The Evergreen Club will meet on Wednesday 10th and 24th April from 2.00pm to 4.00pm and there will be a Whist Drive at the hall on Wednesday 10th April from 6.30pm to 9.00pm.
On Friday 19th to Sunday 21st April, the hall will host a Yoga Retreat Enjoy a relaxing three-day yoga and wellbeing retreat with Upali Rathnayaka. Connect with yoga (suitable for all experience and fitness levels) and explore ancient Ayurvedic medicine. Relax with mantras, music and meditation and nourish yourself with delicious, homemade vegetarian Sri Lankan food. Bingo will be played on Wednesday 24th from 7.00pm to 9.00pm, with a jackpot game for £100 and the draw for the Rampton and Woodbeck Parish Lottery. The Saturday School on the 27th from 9.30am to 12.30pm is ‘Revisiting the Brontes’ with Caroline Hughes. Whether you are a lifelong fan or wondering what all the fuss is about, it’s time to look again at the lives, achievements and legacy of a famous literacy family.
