Are you looking for a fun new hobby? Why not try Scottish Country Dancing? The Retford and District Scottish Country Dance classes are open to all and provide an entertaining way to get some gentle exercise.
Retford Scottish Dancers will start their new season of dancing on Tuesday 8th September. They meet every Tuesday during school term time, from 7.30pm to 9.30pm at Westhill Community Centre, Ordsall DN22 7GA.
You don’t need to have previous dancing experience and you don’t need to take a partner. All that’s needed is enthusiasm, flat comfortable shoes, and a mug for a well-earned drink at tea break.
Your first evening is free of charge and after that classes are £5.00 a session.
