September marks the end of the season for Sunday openings at Milton Mausoleum. Visitors still have the opportunity to explore this remarkable historic building on Sunday 6th, 13th, 20th and 27th September from 2.00pm to 4.00pm. Admission is free.

Volunteers will be on hand to share the fascinating history of the mausoleum, explain its connections to the 4th Duke and Duchess of Newcastle of nearby Clumber Park, and answer questions about the monument and the local area.

Heritage Open Day

Sunday 13th September, 10.00am to 4.00pm

See a special exhibition featuring information about Milton and its surrounding villages.

Visitors will be able to browse a wide range of documents, maps, artefacts, photographs, sales brochures and memorabilia, off ering a unique glimpse into the area’s rich history.

Admission is free and homemade refreshments will be available.

Autumn Fayre

Saturday 10th October, 10.00am to 4.00pm

Milton Mausoleum will host an Autumn Fayre featuring a full range of stalls offering quality goods and gifts.

Guided tours of the monument room will also be available at set times during the day, and visitors are encouraged to call at the information stand for details. Refreshments will be available, together with a covered seating area.

Admission is free and everyone is welcome.

Carols by Candlelight

Saturday 5th December, doors open at 2.30pm and guests should be seated by 3.00pm

This extremely popular event is already filling up, so early booking is recommended. Admission is free and guests will be served mulled wine and mince pies. Donations are welcome.
