Parkinson’s UK

The committee and members of the Bassetlaw branch of Parkinson’s UK wish all readers a very happy and healthy new year.  The branch’s year begins with a talk by Penny Wielgus (neurological dietician) about ‘Diet and Parkinson’s’ on Tuesday 8th January, at 2.00pm at Worksop Cricket Club. Then 5th February sees a welcome return of Sam Glasswell (curator at Bassetlaw Museum) to talk about the Pilgrim Fathers. A varied programme of events is planned, including the popular bi-monthly lunch club at the Lockkeeper, the creative ceramics group at the Harley Studio, weekly Pilates classes plus outings and theatre bookings.

New members are always assured of a warm and friendly welcome. For more details of the branch activities and an update on the Bassetlaw neurological nursing service, call Chris on 01909 730629.
