Retford Men’s Probus Club

Yes! They are back. Retford Men’s Probus Club are back from the summer recess, well rested and ready to engage in the new programme scheduled for 2019–2020. An excellent programme has been formulated on behalf of the membership by the secretary, president and committee, covering a large and varied range of topics, with something to suit most tastes. The new season kicks off on Friday 6th September, when longstanding member and former president, Roy Evans, will address the gathering on the ‘History of the Secret Service’.

As autumn approaches and we all look forward to filling in our spare time (now that gardening and other seasonal time consuming jobs are almost complete) could now be the time to visit the Men’s Probus Club and have some ‘man time’ with club members and discuss news and views from in and around the area? You will be made very welcome! Go along as a visitor, and have a chat over a cuppa, you may find you like the set up and join your peers at this very popular event. Members old and new are always welcome!

Retford Men’s Probus Club has been running since 1971. Their meetings take place at the Westhill Community Centre, Ordsall at 10.00am, every other Friday. If you would like to go along to one of their meetings, please view the website, www.retfordmensprobusclub.org.uk, or contact Retford Men’s Probus Club, by email, probyte@retfordmensprobusclub.org.uk or call the secretary on 07542 852037. You won’t regret it!
