Wildlife talks online

by | 21 November 2020 | Retford, Wildlife, Worksop

It is November and the North Notts Local Group of Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust is still unable to hold meetings but there is some good news! The South Notts group is offering online talks via Zoom and if anyone wishes to join a talk, they are welcome (although places will be limited so early booking is recommended).
The next talk, on Thursday 10th December, will be ‘In the Wake of Scott and Shackleton’ with Nigel Scott. For more information you need to visit www.nottinghamshirewildlife.org/events/2020-12-10-wake-scott-and-shackleton-nigel-scott.
Session slots must be booked in advance via Eventbrite and cost £3.00 per session, including booking fee. You will be sent the online links for the individual talks, both at the time of booking and a reminder a day or so before the talk. The talk sessions will open from 6.45pm for a 7.00pm start and it is anticipated that the actual talk will last about an hour, plus time for a short break and questions at the end. Events will be recorded, so if you have paid but been unable to join the talk they can send you a link. If you have any further queries about the online talks, please contact gordon.dyne@gmail.com.
Other talks are planned for the new year and if you would like a list of them please contact Jan.
