Following Carol Eason’s exciting sole exhibition over the Christmas period, January sees the opening of a group exhibition at Retford Hub.
Westhill Art Group, for the over 60s, was formed around 10 years ago by local self-taught artist, Norma Spurdens, as a leisure activity for retired people in the Ordsall area. The group, which is now organised by another local artist, Pat Ward, meet at Westhill Community Centre every Tuesday afternoon. There is no set agenda, each member being free to choose their own subject and media. This results in an interesting mix of styles and ideas.
The exhibition runs from 13th December 2017 until 24th February 2018 and you are all welcome to attend. Please do come along.
