Rehearsals are well underway as Village Harmony Choir prepares for its annual Christmas concert at Sturton-le-Steeple Village Hall on Sunday 7th December.
The programme will feature a varied selection of beautiful sacred songs in the first half, including Midwinter Noel, Pavane for a Silent Night, and a three-part harmony version of Ding Dong Merrily on High. The second half takes a lighter turn with festive favourites such as Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree, Mistletoe and Wine, and Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, all sung in Village Harmony’s distinctive style.
The concert begins at 2.30pm, with doors opening from 1.00pm. There will be craft stalls to browse before the concert, during the interval, and afterwards, along with refreshments.
