Village Harmony has been very busy in recent weeks preparing for its summer concerts. The choir has selected a programme of favourite songs from its extensive repertoire for this season. The set includes an eclectic mix of show tunes – from The Sound of Music, Singin’ in the Rain, Joseph and Cats – as well as classics such as Moon River.
Following two concerts in June, Village Harmony has two local performances planned for July. The first, titled Songs We Like to Sing, will take place at Sturton-le-Steeple Village Hall on Saturday 12th July at 7.00pm. Tickets are £7.00 each, including refreshments, and are available from June Taylor-Rabjohn on 01427 880965 (answerphone), or on the door on the night.
Village Harmony will also be performing the same programme at South Leverton Church on Saturday 19th July at 7.00pm, with tickets available on the door.
