Lewis G Wyse (1867 to 1955) was a Retford tradesman, cycling champion and avid antiques collector. This exhibition gives an opportunity to see his eclectic collection of precious porcelain, delicate glassware, artworks and various oddities.
Exhibition by Carol Eason — ‘Looking for Colour’
Saturday 16th March to Saturday 11th May
Is it possible not to feel moved by colour? How can the process of painting express feelings within its structure? When is it the right brushstroke across a canvas to touch your emotions, to move you from one place to another, a separation of oneself? Carol has been exploring this subject through technique and subject matter continuously, this retrospective includes paintings, drawings and prints.
