Visit Santa and his live reindeer in his grotto at The Old Lock Up during the Tuxford Christmas Fair on Sunday 3rd December. The event will be held from 3.00pm to 6.30pm with the grand lights switch-on at 5.30pm.

There will be performances by the church choir as well as Tuxford Academy and Tuxford Primary Academy.

Market stalls will include: handcrafted jewellery, greetings cards and gift wrap, Christmas wreaths and baskets, hats, gloves and scarves, cakes and sweets, wooden and knitted crafts, shabby chic homeware, reproduction antiques, mind, body and spirit items and lots of Christmas gift ideas. Many of your favourite retail outlets will also be open.

Children’s rides will be operating throughout the event and hot dogs, burgers, popcorn and candy floss will also be available. There will be a fire engine in attendance and refreshments will be available in the Methodist Church. A free present will be given to all children visiting Santa’s grotto, provided by District Councillors Keith and Shirley Isard from their ward allowance.
