Tractor run’s fundraising brings over £1,200

An annual tractor rally in Askham, near Retford, has raised an impressive £1,257 for Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice. The Jeff Bloom Memorial Marshall Road Run is an annual event organised by the Bloom family with the support of Jones and Co Solicitors and Ballards Removals, Storage and Van Hire.

All proceeds from the day have been presented to the charity that supports children and young adults with life-shortening and life-threatening conditions across North Nottinghamshire and beyond.

Melanie Rose, Community Fundraiser, Bluebell Wood, said: “It was a great event to be part of, with so many tractors joining the road run through the villages around Askham. We’d like to say a big thank you to the Bloom family for continuing to support Bluebell Wood and helping to make a difference to our families. Every penny raised helps us to deliver the services they need and helps them to create special memories, whatever time they have left together.”
