On Saturday 23rd July, from 10.00am to 1.00pm, Bassetlaw Hospice will once again be helping families celebrate the lives of their loved ones as they are invited to ‘Tie A Yellow Ribbon’ in the grounds of Barnby Moor Memorial Park and Crematorium.
Yellow is the colour of hope and memory and each ribbon and can be personalised with a name or a very special message. There is a seated pergola where families can tie their ribbon, and spend a moment of quiet reflection if they wish to do so. Alternatively, they can keep the ribbon close to home, maybe by tying it to a structure in their own garden.
There will also be the unveiling of the Memoria Barnby Moor Royal Garden to celebrate Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee, and the hosts will be providing refreshments.
Yellow ribbons will be available from the Hospice charity shops in Retford and Worksop for a minimum donation of £2.00. They will also be available on the day.
If you are unable to attend but would like a ribbon to be placed on the pergola, please contact the Appeals Office on 01777 710444 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
