The Inner Wheel Club of Retford welcomes Carol Lawrenson as their new President for this the centenary year of Inner Wheel. Members also thank immediate Past President Marie Gibson for all her work over the past year.
During the year they have welcomed new members and fundraised and supported many charities including the Aurora Wellbeing Centre, Breast Cancer Now and NPAC (National Police Aid Convoy). The year has been really enjoyable for all of members and they are looking forward to Carol’s year as President.
Their market stalls have proved to be popular as have their coffee mornings and they have more of both planned in the very near future. They are looking forward to an interesting year of friendship as well as supporting local and international charities.
They meet at Ye Olde Bell on the second Thursday of every month at 5.30pm for 6.00pm. If you are interested in going along to one of their meetings you will be made most welcome. Please email retfordiwc@gmail.com.
