Aurora Wellbeing is a unique therapy service providing support in and with the community for people living with cancer and long-term health conditions, including social isolation and loneliness. Their support embraces families and carers, and they promote good health and quality of life for everyone. Working to improve an individual’s physical and emotional wellbeing is what they do.

If you have experienced a bereavement, join this welcoming group at Aurora Bassetlaw and meet with a small group of people affected by bereavement. This drop-in support group is run by the charity’s experienced bereavement counsellor and meets every Friday from 9.30am to 12.30pm.

They have a designated ‘Warm Space’ Games Group that meets fortnightly. They play a range of games in a relaxed and friendly environment. Refreshments are provided. The first sessions take place on Wednesday 11th and 25th January at 2.00pm to 3.30pm. Everyone is welcome.

Their second Heritage Café of the year takes place on Tuesday 7th February with a talk about the Chesterfield Canal. Please book to secure your place. Enjoy a new opportunity to socialise, meet new people, keep learning and explore Worksop’s past. The group meet at 10.30am to 12.00pm on the first Tuesday of every month.

The charity will also be launching an Aurora Wellbeing Singers group on Monday 9th January. A fun and sociable singing group for everyone to boost your wellbeing, join them at 10.00am to 11.30am, refreshments included.
