St Saviour’s Looking Forward… A Reflection – Reverend Bryony Wood
I wonder if you, like me, can’t quite believe we’re into 2025! How fast the years come and go.
As I look forward, I wonder which of the future dates in my new diary will bring smiles and which might bring tears. None of us know what’s ahead, but one thing is for sure – both joys and challenges are better shared.
I wonder too, if you’ve ever pondered beyond that which is seen and planned for?
What is beyond our tomorrows? Who is there for me? Why am I here? What’s life all about anyway? And is God actually real?
Big questions – it can be helpful to explore them with other people.
At St Saviour’s, we like to grapple with those big questions. We share life’s joys and support those who are struggling. ‘Church’ is where we can grapple and grow in faith – together. We’re not perfect, but we have experienced the hope and peace that God offers, and we know it’s a gift too good to keep to ourselves!
Whatever or whoever you are, there’s a space and a place here for you.
If you have big questions, or just want to try us out – come along or contact us.
