Witty, irreverent and brilliantly virtuosic, Songs in the Key of Sea is a cabaret gem from veteran entertainer Jon Barker. With just one man and a piano, audiences are taken on a musical voyage through Gershwin, Fats Waller, Sinatra, Billy Joel, Elton John, Neil Sedaka and Coldplay – all delivered with sparkling original parodies and fascinating stories from Jon’s long association with Cunard.
From his piano bar beginnings on the QE2 to becoming an acclaimed headliner and now musical creative force behind Cunard’s production shows, Jon presents an evening full of style, laughter, unforgettable music and tales of life at sea – including encounters with global leaders and celebrities.
The show will take place at Hayton Village Hall on Saturday 8th November, starting at 7.00pm. Tickets are £10.00 and include a light supper. Guests are welcome to bring their own drinks.
