Sheffield Children’s Hospital needs your help!

Could you help make Sheffield Children’s Hospital an even more extraordinary place? At nearly 150 years old, the hospital has been on Western Bank since 1878 and is one of only four dedicated children’s hospital trusts in the UK. It provides care for children and young people ranging from community and mental health care as well as acute and specialist services.

The hospital treats over 170,000 children every year, from right across the north of England and last year 34 patients from Rotherham were seen every single day, 72 patients from Bassetlaw were seen every week, 12 patients from Mansfield were seen every week and 31 patients from Lincolnshire (including Gainsborough) were seen every single day.

To support the vital work of the hospital, the Children’s Hospital Charity has many ways for people to help out by donating, fundraising or sponsoring someone to take part in one of their events.
There are lots of fun events taking place throughout the year, all raise funds for the hospital. There’s something for everyone from sky diving to picnics so there’s no excuse not to take part!

Sheffield Children’s Hospital has always depended on charitable support; you can make a difference by getting involved or simply spreading the word. Whatever your ability there is an event for you.
