Local sculptor Phil Neal from the Harley Welbeck Studios will be displaying and demonstrating his work at Retford Town Hall on Saturday 9th September for Retford Heritage Open Day.
Phil makes beautifully bespoke artworks in a wide variety of media. He carves in wood and stone, but also creates in scrap metal of all kinds.
He will join a range of local artists at the Town Hall, showcasing some of the area’s best artistic talent. The theme of the event is ’Creativity Unwrapped’ and all will be revealed on the day!
Look for more information on the Heritage Open Days website from June onwards.
All the usual buildings will be freely open to the public with events in many of them. The Heritage coach and the Seth Ellis will be running and there will be events in the streets. More details coming soon!
