RSPCA opens new charity shop

The popular new RSPCA charity shop in The Courtyard, Bawtry, is holding styling appointments during Bawtry Fashion Week (4th to 11th March) to help you find a pre-loved bargain.

Choose from designer rails including garments from Michael Kors, Ted Baker, Escada, Ralph Lauren and many more. The range of high end and brand name women’s, men’s and children’s clothing as well as home items and accessories are on offer seven days a week; the proceeds go directly to the Animal Centre up the road.

Last year, the RSPCA South Yorkshire Animal Centre rehomed 890 animals, whilst helping many more. The vital rescue and rehabilitation work relies on kind donations from the public. Please think of the Animal Centre during your spring clean and help the shops stock up on clothing, homeware and accessories so that the vital work can continue. Don’t forget to Gift Aid your donations so the Centre can receive an extra 25 pence in every pound!

There are many ways to help with the RSPCA’s mission to rehabilitate and rehome animals rescued from cruelty — volunteer a few hours of your time to help at fun events such as the Dog Show, Picnic in the Park and Big Walkies; buy items from the Pet Store at the Animal Centre; take advantage of the pet cremation service and memorial garden for your beloved pets; or remember the animals in your will.

The Bawtry RSPCA shop is open every day at 9 The Courtyard, Bawtry DN10 6JG, call 01302 215593. The Animal Centre is a mile up the Great North Road towards Doncaster and is open every day except Wednesday. Keep up to date at www.rspcadrb.org.uk.
