Our Bollywood Charity Gala Ball is taking place on Saturday 3rd November 2018, at Ye Olde Bell Hotel, Barnby Moor DN22 8QS. Tickets cost £65.00 and it promises to be an amazing night with dancing to live music, Bollywood entertainment, prizes, games and fun.
Paul Withers, Rotary Club of Retford’s Foundation Officer, said: “Events of this type are a huge undertaking but, after a three-year lull, we are full of new ideas and the Bollywood events team is poised to swing into action. It’s a black-tie event, yet elegant Indian style fancy dress is also being encouraged!”
The club has already staged a series of amazing charity dinners in recent years with themes as diverse as James Bond, the Roaring Twenties and Las Vegas.
But, this time, they are promising their regular supporters something entirely different. The 300-head dinner, which is targeting more than £8,000 for charity, will raise money for the Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice in North Anston near Sheffield and Retford’s Bassetlaw Hospice. Part of proceedings will also go to Retford Rotary’s own designated charities.
“Our casino has always proved a winner and is back by popular demand,” added Paul, along with Bollywood dancers. It will be an amazing night.”
