Retford Civic Society is involved in a range of projects to improve the beautiful town of Retford – murals, Blue Plaques, information leaflets, Heritage Open Day in September, Retford in Bloom, talks, visits, litter-picking and fly-poster removal are just some of them.
Another important aspect of their work is general maintenance where necessary in the town centre. This could involve a small team going out to tackle some weeding, painting or fixing, as and when it arises.
