In line with many other clubs and societies and following government advice, Retford Men’s Probus Club has decided to cancel their next meetings for the safety of the membership and to help curtail the spread of the Omicron variant. The local club have put the health and wellbeing of members first and foremost and have made alternative arrangements.
A Zoom presentation meeting was formulated in January, organised by the club’s committee and led by President Elect Roy Evans, to keep members up-to-date and maintain the camaraderie that dwells within the club. Hopefully this is the way forward at present; the situation will be reviewed on a regular basis until the situation becomes clearer and safer for all concerned.
