The Macular Society is a national sight loss charity supporting people living with macular disease.
It has a network of more than 400 local support groups across the UK. Each one is a welcoming and compassionate place to learn about the support available, build your confidence, and better understand your own macular disease. And, of course, it’s a chance to make new friends who really understand what it is like living with sight loss.
The Retford Macular Society Support Group will be returning in person for the first time since the Covid-19 pandemic began. The meetings recommence on Thursday 1st September between 10.30am and 12.00pm at Grove Methodist Church, Grove Street, Retford DN22 6LB.
Join them for a cup of tea or coffee in a friendly, social setting among others with a sight loss condition. The group will then continue to meet on the first Thursday of each month between 10.30am and 12.00pm.
