Retford Lions’ pop-up charity shop

by | 29 May 2021 | Lions, Retford

Last month, Retford Lions Club advised that their pop-up charity shop would be in the old Toymaster premises unless they were let – which was unlikely! Well, ‘unlikely’ occurred and they have had to make great efforts to secure alternative premises. They owe big thanks to very hardworking member of long standing Philip Moult, who is well known to many Retford folks. Philip burnt much midnight oil and made great efforts to secure new premises for the club.
The result is that they have the use of The Old Post Office in Exchange Street and will be open for sales from Tuesday 1st until Saturday 5th June, from 9.00am to 5.00pm each day. Well done Phillip!
They hope to have smaller items of furniture (the sort of good quality items that could be carried by one person), CDs, DVDs, books, clothing and bric-a-brac, etc. So please consider donating good unwanted items. Please contact 01777 708490 or 07530 754959 and speak to John for delivery addresses or if you really can’t deliver it, maybe arrange collection even at this late stage. Collections are being made by Lions who will live nearest to you.
