The Retford Inner Wheel Club begins the New Year by celebrating the successes of 2024. The coffee morning at Grove Street Methodist Church was a resounding success, well-supported by members, friends, and partners, with funds raised going to the Motor Neurone Disease Association, the chosen charity of President Judith for the year. The club also participated in the Star Festival at Grove Street Church and the Christmas Tree Festival at St Swithun’s Church, contributing to the festive community spirit.
Additionally, the club supported charitable efforts abroad, contributing baby bundles and joy-and-toy bags to the NPAC container, which departed in December and is now en-route to The Gambia.
The New Year kicks off with an informal social evening, and the Inner Wheel National Conference in Harrogate at the end of March already feels just around the corner.
