The first Sunday competition of the 2023 season, the Coronation Competition, to find the King and Queen of the green, was held at Retford Bowling Green on Sunday 7th May.
After an excellent afternoon’s bowling in the glorious May sunshine, the winners were Val Brodie and David Ross, who were presented their prizes by Captains Sue and Fred Mills.
The best dressed bowler went to Stewart Vanstone who looked splendid in his coronation attire.
