The bowling season is over at Retford Bowling Green, but the winter programme has now started with plenty of activity to keep everyone busy during the winter months.
There is short mat bowls on Monday, Thursday and Friday, snooker on Monday evenings and Canasta on Tuesday afternoons. Fridays alternate between coffee mornings and social evenings, which have so far included a race night and a fish and chip supper with entertainment and karaoke.
The club has its Christmas Dinner to look forward to in December and then New Year’s Eve night.
