John Wesley once preached here, and the Separatists, known as the Pilgrim Fathers, had their roots in Retford before departing for the New World in 1620.
Retford Arts Hub not only serves as a space for displaying and selling local arts and crafts but also operates as a Visitor Information Centre, providing information about Retford and its surrounding areas to both residents and visitors.

The Arts Hub in Cannon Square is run by a team of volunteers, many of whom possess a wealth of knowledge about Retford and are eager to share it with visitors.
The Hub offers leaflets, maps, postcards, and booklets about Bassetlaw and Nottinghamshire. Call in to explore what is on offer, learn more about this beautiful town, and perhaps enjoy a hot drink and a snack.
On 16th November, the Christmas Fair will begin, featuring handmade gifts and decorations – an event not to be missed.
