The Arts Hub in Retford is looking for some new volunteers to join their team.
There are lots of exciting opportunities for you to get involved in. Perhaps you would like to help out at their children’s art and craft sessions, or help with their social media posts? There are also opportunities to gain experience in the retail shop and perhaps you would enjoy helping local visitors, providing information on local events and attractions.
They welcome volunteers from all age groups, from 16 years upwards. Whether you are a student, retired, job seeker or a full time parent / carer looking for a fulfilling opportunity, this may be for you.
Volunteering is a great way to make new friends, feel part of a team, increase confidence and to put something back into the local community.
They support local artists and makers as well as the general community. Interested? Then get in touch to find out more.
Summer holiday sessions for kids and adults at Retford Arts Hub have been funded by the UK Government and Bassetlaw District Council.
During September, they are running a series of workshops for adults: Crochet (with Chris), Acrylic Painting (various artists) and an Introduction to Block Printing with Peter Rixham (Tuesday 1st October).
The kids club on Saturday mornings will be restarting in September; the first session is on Saturday 14th September. If you have a budding artist in your family, aged between seven and 11, they can go along to have fun at these popular artist-led sessions for just £3.00 per child (booking essential).
If you are interested in any of these opportunities, please get in touch with them. Find Retford Arts Hub at 11 Churchgate, Retford, call 01777 860414 or email info@retfordartshub.com.
