September is a busy month as the children return to school and Retford Arts Hub’s new timetable of workshops and exhibitions begin.
They are hosting an exhibition of local adult’s and children’s art works. This exhibition will last for the whole of September and coincides with Retford Heritage Day and the theme of Creativity Unwrapped.
On 7th September they have two workshops run by Beehive Wellbeing:
- 10.30am to 12.30pm: Indian block printing
- 1.00pm to 3.00pm: Resin bumblebee workshop.
To find out more about these and to book visit www.beehivewellbeing.co.uk.
They also have Chris Abbott’s new four-week learn to crochet / knit course starting Saturday 9th September from 1.30pm to 3.30pm. To find out more and to book ring Chris on 07925 489070.
On 11th, 18th and 25th September from 10.30am to 12.30pm they are hosting three standalone beginners’ water colour workshops – a different animal theme each week – and if you want to attend all three, you will get a discounted price. For more details and to book visit lucindy.sumupstore.com.
Finally, if you would like to help out as a volunteer with their workshops and join the friendly Retford Arts Hub team, please get in touch with them. You could run your own workshops in their workshop room or have an exhibition in their gallery. Interested? Email info@retfordartshub.com.
