Visit Retford Art Society’s Spring Exhibition in their new venue – Grove Street Methodist Church. The Society would like to thank the Methodist community for all their help.
Pictures, handmade and hand-painted cards and art objects are all on sale, and you can observe the art while enjoying a restoring a relaxing cup of coffee in the café.
The exhibition runs until Friday 11th May and is open from 10.00am to 4.00pm.
This month the Society has a Life Drawing Workshop. It will be held in Treswell Village Hall on Saturday 25th May from 10.00am to 3.00pm, led by Tas Severis. This event is expected to be very popular.
Life drawing sessions will be held in the Swan Studio on Wednesdays 1st, 15th and 29th May from 7.00pm to 9.00pm. The cost is £7.00.
The Swan Studio is open as usual for communal painting on Tuesday evenings from 7.00pm to 9.00pm and Friday afternoons from 2.00pm to 4.00pm at no cost.
