The next meeting of the Retford and District Historical and Archaeological Society is the AGM on Wednesday 8th May.
The business side of the meeting will completed promptly and will be followed by a presentation by Derek Turner on the history of the Retford Civic Society. This is sure to be of interest to residents of Retford and the surrounding villages.
The meeting starts at 7.30pm in the Chapelgate Hall situated behind Grove Street Methodist Chapel. All are welcome, non-members £3.00.
This is the last of the Society’s lectures in the 2023 -24 programme. The new programme will commence Wednesday 4th September 2024.
