At the May meeting of the Retford and District Historical and Archaeological Society, there will be a short AGM followed by a talk on ‘The Drainage of the Isle of Axholme’ by Angus Townley.
The meeting will be held on Wednesday 10th May at 7.30pm in the Chapelgate Hall, situated behind Grove Street Methodist Church.
