Anyone who lives or works in Bassetlaw can attend testing centres at Manton Sports, Retford Road, Worksop and Crown Place Community Centre, Sandy Lane, Worksop. One in three people with COVID-19 have no symptoms, that’s why a regular test – ideally twice weekly – can help protect colleagues, families and the wider community. It is especially important that higher risk workers who cannot work from home or come into contact with the public are tested regularly.
The more people who are found to have the virus and then self-isolate, the better our chance of breaking the chains of transmission and returning to a more normal way of life.
The test is free, quick, safe and accurate. It takes around 30 minutes to receive your results and you don’t need to book an appointment.
Please take a face covering as you’ll need to wear it in the testing centre. If you have a smartphone please take it with you, fully charged, to register for your test result. If you don’t have a smartphone, staff will be available to help you on site.
People who have to self-isolate after testing positive for COVID-19 and aren’t able to work may be eligible for a £500 support payment to help.
