A warm welcome awaits you at Ranskill Bowls Club. Feeling a bit lonely, want to make new friends or looking for a new hobby, why not try crown green bowling in Ranskill? It is a small, enthusiastic and friendly club where members will be happy to show you what to do if you haven’t played before. The club’s green is in a pleasant setting on Station Road in Ranskill, with plenty of off-street parking available.
The new outdoor season begins on Saturday 13th April at 2.00pm (weather permitting) and they are then held throughout the summer on Saturdays at 2.00pm and Thursdays at 6.00pm. You need flat soled shoes to go on the green.
The club organises internal competitions where everyone has the chance to win a trophy and, in winter months, mats are available for indoor bowling. So, go along and have a go, meet other members and be assured of a very warm welcome.
