Christmas quiz and social night
With December and Christmas almost upon us, it’s time to take a break from the gift wrapping, card writing, and turkey stuffing, and enjoy some festive fun instead! There’s no better way for Wildlife Trust members to do that than by joining the North Notts Local Group’s annual Christmas Quiz and Social Night.
Each year, the local group committee and friends gather to dream up a quiz – sometimes it’s a picture round, other times it might feature specimens of wild birds or plants. You never quite know what to expect, but it’s always entertaining, light-hearted, and accompanied by a delicious buffet to keep those brain cells fuelled. And if the answers don’t come easily, another mince pie might just do the trick!
The Christmas Quiz Night will take place at the Idle Valley Centre on Thursday 11th December from 7.00pm to 10.00pm. Tickets cost £8.00 each and can be purchased in advance from Maureen Holgate at mohol45@aol.com.
