The December meeting of the North Notts Local Group of Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust at Idle Valley will be the group’s annual Christmas Quiz and Social Night. The programme is being finalised, but attendees can expect an entertaining evening filled with wildlife-themed quiz rounds, a glass of mulled wine, a delightful buffet, and the chance to catch up with friends. There will also be Christmassy raffle prizes to be won!
This event is ticket-only and open to members, friends, and supporters. Limited tickets are available for £8.00 each. Those interested should contact Maureen Holgate at mohol45@aol.com to check availability. This gathering is a festive start to the season, providing an opportunity to share in the holiday spirit with fellow wildlife enthusiasts.
For anyone unable to attend Quiz Night, the North Notts Local Group extends warm wishes for a joyful Christmas and a peaceful, wildlife-friendly New Year. The first meeting of 2025 will be held on Thursday 9th January at the Idle Valley Centre, starting at 7.15pm. John Clark will speak on Bird Ringing in Treswell Wood, and there will be an interactive feather quiz for all to test their bird knowledge!
