The North Notts Local Group of the Wildlife Trust has completed another very successful series of lectures over the winter months. A wide range of subjects has been covered by speakers who are all experts in their field. Topics included fracking, photomicrography, urban ecology, British moths and butterflies and developments at Sherwood Forest with the RSPB.
There will be a series of activities through the summer including the Tim Bowles Memorial Walk, a guided walk in Treswell wood and the group are currently finalising an exciting series of talks for the autumn which will begin in September.
For more information about any of their activities, call or email Jan on 01777 709974, 07969 180067 or janwilliamson133@gmail.com. If you would like to be on the email alert list, please email Jan with your request. For information about activities throughout the county, call at the Idle Valley Nature Reserve and pick up a What’s On Guide or check out the Notts Wildlife Trust website for all manner of exciting things to do. Members hope to see you in the autumn.
