North Notts Chamber Choir invites singers, all voices welcome, to an Open Evening in Mountgarret Recital Room, Worksop College S80 3AP on Tuesday 9th January at 7.30pm.
If you have ever thought about joining a choir then now’s your chance. You are invited to a friendly evening of singing and socialising with a buffet and a drink and the chance to sing some of the group’s upcoming repertoire which includes John Rutter’s beautiful ‘The Gift of Life’.
The Chamber Choir is rehearsed each Tuesday evening in term time by the Musical Director of Worksop College, Timothy Uglow, and their concerts, with full orchestral accompaniment, take place in the magnificent Chapel at Worksop College. The choir has sung many of the most significant works of the choral repertoire such as Handel’s Messiah, Mozart’s Requiem, Faure’s Requiem, Haydn’s Creation to name but a few. The choir always presents ‘A Feast of Christmas Music’ in early December and a light summer programme in June.
