Askham Parish Room (Village Hall) presents a talk with slides by Chris Ashby entitled ‘Me, the RAF, and Nimrod’ on Wednesday 25th July at 7.30pm. The Nimrod is the RAF Maritime Reconnaissance Aircraft (successor to the RAF Shackleton Search and Rescue). Tickets cost £5.00 and are available from John Kelly on 01777 838637. Proceeds will be shared between the RAF Benevolent Fund via Chris, and Village Hall upkeep.
