The Markham Clinton Community Project (MCCP), in partnership with All Saints’ Church, West Markham, is enjoying a vibrant summer of events and community engagement.
Regular activities
Throughout August, regular sessions are taking place at West Markham Church, including the popular Art, Crafts and Knit and Natter group every Wednesday from 10.30am to 12.30pm, and Keep Fit with Katie on Mondays at 10.30am. These sessions offer a welcoming space and continue through the summer with the first session free and a small fee or suggested donation thereafter. A special thank you goes to Judith Osborne for leading craft sessions, Katie for her energy and encouragement during fitness sessions, and Derrick Spence for generously sharing his artistic expertise.
Cuppa and Cake morning is back on Saturday 9th August from 10.30am to 12.30pm. The beloved Quiz at the Pub With No Beer returns on Friday 15th August at 7.00pm. Run by quizmaster John Lambert, these light-hearted events include a cheese board and raffle. Participants are encouraged to bring their own alcohol. Booking is essential – call 07866 416269.
