Year Six Leverton Primary Academy students experienced sailing at Daneshill Sailing Club. They were taking part in a taster day in June. The funding for this activity was provided by North Notts Lions. This is the third school in the Retford area who have enjoyed this very worthwhile experience provided by North Notts Lions.
The head at Sturton School, Mark Elliott, whose students have already enjoyed the sailing taster day, said some of his students who had been sailing had already made enquiries about joining the Daneshill club as a result of their taster day.
