Les Francophiles de Tickhill

Les Francophiles de Tickhill’s first meeting after Easter is Wednesday 3rd April, when members will welcome the return of Steve Lovell of Greenspaces Nature to take them on a virtual trip of French Ornithology. With 541 different species of ‘les oiseaux’ in France, it won’t just be time that’s flying!

Steve is Lincoln born and bred and a keen birder and all-round naturalist. He is a regular guest speaker at the British Wildlife Watching Club and lectures at the British Birdwatching Fair at Rutland Water. He has also worked for the RSPB as Community Talks and Project Manager in the Lincoln area.

As a bonus, he is a keen follower of the Tour de France cycling championship!

There will be an opportunity to practise your French over tea and coffee by joining those members of the group who are experienced French speakers.

The group meets in the Parish Room, Tickhill DN11 9HZ at 7.30pm. Ring Janet Erridge for more details on 01302 745281.
