This month Retford Inner Wheel Club hosted a very successful lunch (with desserts of course) in Clarborough Village Hall, with over 70 members, family and friends attending. There was also a raffle and some table quizzes, which proved to be very popular. The money raised was for Breast Cancer Now, which is one of the charities that President Marie (whose granddaughter sang the grace before the meal beautifully) is supporting this year.
Member Sue is also involved in a local craft group at Blyth; the letter box topper of the Coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla with the beefeaters and guardsmen that was made by made by the group is brilliant.
The Inner Wheel Club meets on the second Thursday of every month at Ye Olde Bell at 5.30pm for a 6.00pm start. Visitors and potential new members are always welcome.
