Do you need fresh air, exercise, a good chat or perhaps a chance to get out and enjoy the countryside?
The Ramblers are a small friendly group who like to do all of the above. They walk on Sundays and meet in Chapelgate Car Park to arrange car sharing if needed.
During the winter months their walks tend to be more local. As the days lengthen, they travel to the Peak District and Lincolnshire Wolds amongst others.
Upcoming walks
- 5th January – a Winter Walk in Wheatley, fairly flat easy walking eight miles
- 12th January – a Ramble in Idle Valley, flat, easy walking on tracks around lakes and river, eight miles
- 19th January – Shireoaks, Chesterfield Canal and two woods, tracks through woodlands and along the canal, eight miles
