Physio Pilates Retford and Blizard Physiotherapy have joined forces to offer a free educational session on the menopause for women in Retford.

Jodie Antich, Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist at Blizard Physiotherapy, specialises in pelvic health and understands how bladder, bowel, vaginal and pain symptoms can impact everyday life. These issues can often worsen during menopause, with many women noticing changes before realising their hormones are shifting.

Menopause is not something most people are taught about, and it has only recently become more openly discussed. Blizard Physiotherapy and Physio Pilates Retford aim to change that by providing accessible information and empowering women to take back control of their health. This free educational session is designed to help break down barriers and support women in living life to the full.

The talk will take place at Physio Pilates Retford, Chaplegate, Retford, on Wednesday 12th November from 1.45pm to 2.45pm, and is open to all women in the area. Jodie will explain what menopause is, how symptoms can affect women both during and after this stage of life, and explore lesser-known issues that impact muscles and bones. She will also share practical tips and advice to help attendees stay active, healthy and strong.

The session is free, but spaces are limited and booking is essential. To reserve a place, email bookings@physiopilatesretford.co.uk. If you are unable to attend but would like details of alternative free menopause talks, contact info@blizardphysiotherapy.co.uk
