Have you visited any historic buildings on Retford Heritage Day? The Civic Society organises that every year. Have you got a copy of the Heritage Trail booklet? Retford Civic Society published that.
They are an award-winning, non-political, conservation and amenity group. The society are growing all the time — they now have nearly 300 members. They say they are ‘Looking to the future as well as the past’, so they carry out projects to make our town even better as well as working to preserve our heritage.
