End Polio Now
Proceeds from this concert will be donated to the Rotary International ‘End Polio Now’ Project. Polio, once a world-wide crippling disease, has been all but eradicated by Rotary’s End Polio Now campaign, with the help of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, which double-matches all contributions. The disease only exists in Pakistan, Afghanistan and India and the end is in sight. Rotary is committed to see the world free of Polio.
Along with their partners, Rotary have helped immunise more than 2.5 billion children against Polio in 122 countries. They have reduced polio cases by 99.9% worldwide and won’t stop until they end the disease for good.
