Computer systems are based on filing systems — so often a place to lose things or get into a maze of meaninglessly named files. If you’ve been meaning to ‘tidy-things-up’ or just want to know where everything is, then Clarborough and Welham IT Group’s classes could be just the ticket.
Add to this the related — and vital — topic of backing up your information, then you will see why filing in all of its aspects is such a crucial practice area in most of their classes.
The group also spends time exploring file types together with ways of converting between them — how about changing a text document into a PDF file or a camera JPEG into a TIFF file? Come along and find out!
Bring your own laptop or use one of their Windows 10 machines. The group specialises in so-called OpenSource applications, which means they can provide professional quality ‘Office’, image editing and other applications for free. Sign up to discover a new world!
